Overview
地域活性化×空間エンターテイメントを体現したライフスタイルホテル hotel space の新規ブランディング。宿泊客がホテルステイを通して「空白(space)」を埋めていくというコンセプトの、福島県会津若松市のホテル。このホテルを新規ブランディングしたきっかけは、2011年の3.11東日本大震災以降10年以上経った現在でも、風評被害による福島県の観光産業や農畜産物の落ち込みが未だに続いていることからである。福島の復興のため、見えないところで助けを必要としている誰かのために、サービスを消費する側も何かを得ながら他者に利益を与え繋がることができるサービスがあるのではないかと考え、その場所としてライフスタイルホテルを提案した。支援を必要としている他者との交差点になるホテルをhotel spaceとネーミングし、ロゴデザイン、Webサイト制作、アメニティのデザインをした。
Created a new branding for hotel space, a lifestyle hotel that embodies local revitalization and spatial entertainment. The concept of this hotel, located in Aizuwakamatsu City, in Fukushima, is for guests to fill in "space" through their stay. The reason for branding this hotel was the fact that more than 10 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011, the tourism industry and agricultural products in Fukushima are still in decline due to damaging rumours. For the sake of Fukushima's recovery, I proposed a lifestyle hotel as a place where guests can benefit and connect with others, while also benefiting someone who needs help in an invisible way. It is called "hotel space" and we designed the logo, website and amenities.

Design
ゲストが「空白(space)」を埋めることを感じることができるデザインを心がけた。「空白」を表現するやわらかいホワイトをメインに使用し、サステナビリティを表現する透き通った水色と、地域活性化を表現する活発なイメージのオレンジ色を使用したポップな要素を取り入れた。
A design that gives guests the feeling of filling a "space". The main colour is soft white, representing "space", and pop elements are used with clear light blue, representing sustainability, and orange, representing a vibrant image of regional revitalisation.
